Running the so-called Command Center for the annual Charles Dickens Festival, a top ten event on Long Island, is a tremendous job involving many layers of skill. She handles all aspects of organizing, getting licenses for involved groups, procuring supplies and recruiting volunteers for the job of feeding 150 people for two days.
