Held several positions over the years at Bean's. Started out in Order Entry then moved to Manufacturing. In Manufacturing, was the first full-time production scheduler, then became a production supervisor responsible for the completion of luggage and specialty items. Finally became responsible for the first 'mini-computer' installation in Manufacturing. I was responsible for the installation of Bean's first Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II) system. Set up bills of material, started inventory cycle counting (increased accuracy by over 20%), wrote all procedures and training manuals, and trained all users.
