  I was 1 of 6 students chosen to participate in the Junior Fellows program at USC. We participated in a research project focused on investigating KRAS mutations in colon cancer tissue samples from different patients to determine which of them would respond to the drug Cetuximab, and what the best treatment plan would be. The focus of the program was to provide us with exceptional critical thinking and analysis skills, as well as advanced lab training and organizational skills in scientific procedures. Show less
