I have worked on many projects during my tenure here at AMX which was acquired by Harman International, and itself, subsequently bought by Samsung. The following two projects are my most recent in a long list to help illustrate my scope of duties and some of the technologies I’ve worked on. **Current Product: Horizon Pro ** This product is an alarm clock with a voice assistant implemented with IBM Watson technology for the hospitality industry. -Firmware Lead for US-based product development efforts. -Interface and coordinate with our Shenzhen Design Centers and TCL as the contract manufacturer. -Interface with our India development team for IOT backend. -Interface with both Project and Product management organizations. -Interface with our Test organization. In addition to leading and coordinating F/W efforts, I also have significant developer responsibilities ranging from H/W board bring-up, C++ application development, Linux-driver development for custom boards, and integration testing of intermediate deliverables to our sister organizations. The product is Linux-based running a 4.1.15 kernel on an NXP i.MX6 processor and communicates with a proprietary IOT infrastructure back-end cloud using MQTT. **Product Family: DXLink Transmitters/Receivers** Firmware Lead for the SDX-414-DX, SDX-514M-DX, and DX-RX-4K products and a team member/developer for the SDX-510M-DX product. https://trade.amx.com/products/categoryDXLinkTransmittersReceivers.asp The SDX-414-DX and SDX-514M-DX are a 4 and 5 input, respectively, Digital Switchers to mirrored HDMI and HDBaseT outputs capable of handling UHD and DCI 4K video up to 30Hz. The DX-RX-4K is an HDBaseT/DXLink Receiver to a single HDMI output with auto scaling capabilities also capable of UHD/DCI 4K video up to 30Hz. These product are MQX-based (v4.0.2) running on a Coldfire MCF54415. The HDBaseT chipset was from Valens (VS100). Show less
