  Elected by the student body, I serve as a College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences Senator under the Associated Students of the University of California-Riverside. As a senator, my responsibilities focus on representing a college with 58 majors and 48 minors. I am responsible for working collaboratively with two ethnic and gender programs. I currently sit on the Legislative Review Committee, Transfer/Non-Traditional Committee, and the CHASS Executive Committee. In order to promote transparency, I write weekly Senator Reports to inform the student body of my week by week tasks and routines in advocacy and representation. Sitting in the Legislative branch, I hold an important vote during weekly Senate meetings. One of my ultimate goals is to provide an event for the student body that will benefit them academically and personally. In summary, my position as Senator of the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences drives me to be there with the students and for the students!
