  The Division Systems Engineering Manager is responsible for the technical quality of the assigned division’s engineering products, and the processes used in their development and delivery. The Division Systems Engineer participates in the integration of current systems into future combat systems. The Division SEM prepares technical papers or leads investigations to address deficiencies in such areas as operating techniques and procedures, systems documentation, manning, engineering design, design implementation and/or training. In conjunction with the Division Supportability Manager the Division SEM develops and monitors supportability and engineering processes across the division. In conjunction with the Division Supportability Manager the Division Systems Engineer arbitrates interdivision conflicts among product leads, process leads and project coordinators. The Division Systems Engineer mentors division engineering personnel, and provides input to IDPs) and performance assessments.
