  Acting as Training and ODMS Coordinator at Dow's Natural Resources Plant in Breu Branco, through an outsourced contract with JobCenter, I had the opportunity to: • Understands (and can articulate to others) the definition and value of a management system, the vision, goals and strategy related to the ODMS, Make Product Work Process, EH&S, Quality and productivity. • Understands organization operations, work processes utilized by the organization, business’s role and structure, with a continuous improvement mindset • Coordinates the ongoing support of the ODMS across an organization, providing support and advice as needed. • Ensures effective links between Business/Function Element Focal Points and the Dept/Plant Element Focal Points, obtaining support for the management system and improvements from leadership. • Act as the organization subject matter expert for the overall management system. • Drives the Plan DO Check Act cycle of continuous improvement for their organization, defining resources needed. • Assists the organization Leadership in the identification and assignment of Element Focal Points, training and helping them identify and prioritize opportunities. • Participates in the Management System Review process for their organization. • Measures and tracks management system performance, leading implementation of ODMS changes and coordinates ongoing efforts to maintain the ODMS system, reduce unplanned events and maximize value from ODMS use. • Participates in appropriate ODMS networks to improve management systems. • Leads the organization’s self-assessment process and ensures completion of action items from self-assessments.
