Research Assistant with dr. Alex van Venrooij from the Department of Sociology within the project: "The Dynamics of Genres in Electronic Dance Music (EDM)". I collaborated to research the question: How do network structures influence the emergence of new genres and subgenres in Electonic Dance Music (EDM)? To do this I used data from discogs.com and quantitatively studied social networks of musicians, labels and albums. Research Assistant with dr.
