Juan is an outstanding team player, skillful at his job and an all round absolute gentleman. He was fundamental in our team's success of producing a enterprise-level software solution for Loan Origination. Achieving this great feat would not have been possible without his continued and untiring effort and dedication. From the first day on the job he was ready to grab a handful and help in every which way he could. It wasn't long before he was one of the most important members on the team. Juan has taken on many roles and responsibilities, never shying away from jumping in to help when we had a gap. Always dependable, always adept. Juan takes time to understand the problem and works with users and engineers to formulate a well-rounded solution. He understands the, sometimes, tug of war relationship between perfection and productivity and incorporates that into his problem solving. He is always pushing himself to understand the engineering of the system further to deeper understand it, greatly enhancing his ability to produce solutions that can be productively executed. He is always courteous and clear in his communication and responds to messages in a timely manner. He is really good with interfacing with end users and has contributed great value to our team when communicating with users and managers. He is quick to respond to emergencies. If a problem arises he would race to address it, doing an excellent job at communicating with affected users, relaying the issue to a fire team, answering their questions, coordinating the release of the solution and following up in the aftermath. Perhaps one of Juan's best qualities is his ability to quickly build strong relationships with others and he is very pleasant to talk to. He is a family man and a caring individual, something that reflects in his day-to-day interactions with everyone. Very few people go above and beyond like Juan did to make sure goals are met, stakeholders are happy and users are satisfied. It was an absolute pleasure working with him.

There is no way our company would have passed our ISO9000 certification process without Juan’s dedication to the process in guiding us through it. Juan is faced with an often tough job of telling department heads and senior managers that they aren’t doing something correctly, yet he is well respected by all for his expertise, and his attitude is one that you can’t help but want to work with him and let him help you correct any area of weakness when it comes to quality. We have seen significant improvement in our TQM efforts in meeting key KPI’s and SLAs with our customers and it is in no small part to Juan’s efforts.
