I have worked with Julian for years in a very complex policy, communications and campaigning environment in Brussels. Have not met so far a better Communications Director than him. He understands content; media love him; highly skilled and experienced on all aspects of communications and knows his way around Brussels politics and lobbying. I was sorry when he moved on and would work with him anytime again with great pleasure.

I have worked with Julian at the PES for a few years and it was a fantastic experience. He is a gifted communicator and politically very sharp and savvy. I worked again with Julian in Mauritania with NDI on two occasions: he trained several Mauritanian civil society actors and then around 50 political activists from all political parties. Julian was a source of inspiration to all, acted as a true facilitator and shared a wealth of experience with everyone. His experience as a campaigner and working with leaders was extremely relevant for the developing world setting. He is professional and very robust in his approach and I would have no hesitations to recommend his work. Of everyone I ever worked with during my professional career, he is one of the very best.
