"Here at Bar Nation we are specialists in managing bar contracts at festivals, concerts public and sporting events. We are not the UK's largest mass-scale bar operator and we don't want to be. We want to work with small-to-medium-sized festivals who don't aspire to be the country's biggest in volume but the best in customer experience. We offer the industry's best option for small and medium sized events and will help deliver financial security for the future through sound and efficient management of bar contracts. We have built a strong client base by offering bespoke bar solutions, formidable management and an unrivalled network of industry contacts. We transform operations, increase yield and escalate profits.Bar Nation has been operating for six years running the bars for a number of high profile events such as Cowes Week, Cotton Clouds Festival, Farr Festival, Farm Festival, Houghton Festival, Henley Royal Regatta, Gala and Gottwood. Our sole remit is to deliver outstanding bar service and increase profits, while building lasting relationships with our clients."My early employment with Bar Nation encompassed managing festival bars of up to 100 members of staff, demonstrating best practice as well as legal and responsible service of alcohol. Responsible to event management for JD-defined accountabilities.

A further extension of my responsibilities; trusted to act as a Sponsor to new partners, but also a branch keyholder, responsible for the safety of all partners and the store itself during shifts. My continued, flexible, employment within the John Lewis Partnership enabled me to complete my undergraduate University studies, while continuing to nurture my interest in premium F&B and exemplary customer service.

An exciting investment project with fellow students from Salisbury, coming together to provide a popular and completely new service in Salisbury. Salisbury Punting is a popular and unique experience, a chauffeured trip aboard the only punt on the River Avon, based in the picturesque and historical market town of Salisbury. Born out of a summer project with friends which recognised a lack of new and unusual activities in the local area, this project quickly recouped its initial investment. The initial summer involved river cleaning, neighbourhood negotiations, local radio and TV news appearances, and partnership building with local businesses to form the route, which takes in The Grasmere House Hotel, The Legacy Rose & Crown and Arundell's (Former Prime Minister, Ted Heath's private residence), offering unfettered views to Salisbury's famous cathedral that can only be reached onboard the punt.
