Josh Ponte events is a self-made freelance operation I created for myself to assist me in getting the experience needed to land my first opportunity as a career event planner. In this position, there are many tasks I perform but the main tasks are, finding potential clients who are looking for help planning an event of any size, Assist in the planning and day-of logistics, this includes anything from design to the placement of seating and entertainment. Additionally, I also find vendors for the client and work with both the client and the vendors to find the optimal equipment to complete the feel of the event, while staying within the client's budget. Lastly, I offer day of event services to clients to make it so they don't have to worry about the running of the event. I will organize everything from load-in/out times with vendors to organizing when speeches happen and troubleshooting if/when something goes wrong.
