AASHTO SPaT Challenge Implemented DSRC wireless communications in Dover, NH. Implemented third party open source V2I-Hub software onto Ubuntu Linux OS. Used Wireshark to debug and verify content of communication traveling over the network. Wrote a J2735 message decoder in Javascript to verify correct message contents. Constructed a mock traffic light with 3D printed materials that utilizes an Arduino to visually demonstrate the current phase of the light in real time. Utilized a NodeJS API to enable storing traffic data on a local server. Wrote algorithms needed for an Android app our team created using Ionic 3 framework that displays phase and timing information from decoded J2735 messages. Smart Cities Research Designed and developed multiple sensors and circuits to diagnose problems with UNH’s LoRaWAN gateway. Deployed and maintained LoRaWAN parking sensors and gateways to help UNH’s smart transportation initiative. Show less
