  As a FCZ Docent I enjoy teaching again! I have those "ah ha!" moments as well as all the giggles, delight and exploration that our children enjoy at our Zoo. We're the 5th largest zoo in California and have a world-class coastal exhibit in our Sea Lion Cove- entirely funded by our Measure Z funds! Currently we're working on our Africa Exhibit, which will double the size of our zoo. Log on to YouTube and select "Fresno Chaffee Zoo African Adventure" to take a preview peek. It is completely paid (in full) and local contractors are used as much as possible. I give tours, educational offerings, educational outings (ZooMobile to schools and events), special events or just 'off site' fellowship with fellow docents. If you connect with me I can show you around, especially 'visit' our (4) new tiger cubs! As the Activities Chair of the Docent Program, which is called ZooLynx, I plan our monthly presentations as well as small and large outings - yes folks- Field Trips! Whooo Hoooo!
