  I am the Fitness Director for the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center, in Bridgewater New Jersey. I oversee the many different areas within our fitness department, including Personal Training, Group Fitness, Aquatic and Senior Fitness. I am an experienced Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor for over 24 years. With a passion to motivate and educate others to reach their full health and fitness potential, I stay current with Fitness Research and Programming. Recently, I obtained my Certified Exercise Specialist (CES) certification, through The Cancer Exercise Training Institute, to help those through the life altering process of Cancer rehabilitation. My facility has adopted a specialty area in which CES Trainers work one-on-one with their clients. This specialized program is called the JFIT Cancer Recovery and Survivor Training. Here we will help those diagnosed with cancer to prevent or improve cardio respiratory function, improve body composition, enhance immune functions, increase strength and flexibility, improve body image and mood and reduce the number and severity of side effects brought on by chemotherapy and radiation.
