Developed ACT 48 Credit Courses: • Instructional Technology in the Classroom: The course consisted of the different types of technology for the classroom. Developed multiple presentations, and web pages for this course. Students were required to complete lesson plans that integrated technology into the classroom. • Assistive Technology in the Classroom and Grant Writing for the Technology: This course consisted of the different types of Assistive Technology available today for the students in need. TRIPOL came in and reviewed the technology with educators. This took away the fear of the technology in addition to making them aware that this same technology can be brought into the classroom to encourage less inhibition when a student comes to the classroom with the technology. • Grant writing process. Teachers were made more aware of their own capabilities to write grants for desired technology in their classrooms. Grant for technology in the classroom was gained through this course. • Multiple Intelligence in the Classroom and how to plan accordingly: This course explored the multiple intelligence according to Howard Gardner’s Theory. The educators took tests to determine their own intelligence and how to better prepare lesson plans to include all the different and unique intelligence that are within a classroom. We explored how the different types of intelligence learn and the needs to incorporate all the different types of learners within a classroom. Educators were able to incorporate the different types of intelligence into a full scale project based lesson they developed during this course. Show less
