Within the Academy for Innovation & Research at Falmouth University I operated as an innovations developer, working with researchers and external business. I worked on many externally funded projects to build products and services for research and business use both in and out side of the University. I would work with a team of people with a problem, come up with various solutions and work out what it takes to materialise that idea and in some cases, build it. Some projects… Show more Within the Academy for Innovation & Research at Falmouth University I operated as an innovations developer, working with researchers and external business. I worked on many externally funded projects to build products and services for research and business use both in and out side of the University. I would work with a team of people with a problem, come up with various solutions and work out what it takes to materialise that idea and in some cases, build it. Some projects I worked on in the three years at falmouth were : * Designing and building a CNC slip trailing machine form software to hardware. * Developing A tablet based learning tool for dyslexic students. * Big data and Internet of things mobile applications for Westminster City Council. * Costing, purchasing and setup of the electronics department of the Makernow FabLab. * Complete build of an internal Researcher profiling platform, * Various internal and externally facing websites and eLearning elements.
