During the holiday season of 2021, JAW collected over 200 donations of warm garments such as sweaters, jackets, hats, gloves, blankets, and more. These donations were given to HomeFirst, a nonprofit organization which provides shelter and other services to the homeless. HomeFirst distributed these warm garments to those who needed it the most. LifeMoves is a shelter which provides homeless families with housing and other supportive services. During the COVID-19 pandemic, JAW held a campaign called Lunches for LifeMoves, in which $1,640 were donated to the shelter. With this money, LifeMoves was able to provide its struggling residents with nutritious meals during the pandemic.
