Jessica worked for me for a full decade. She first started working for me when I was a team leader, and continued to work for me once I became the director of the department. She was one of my best developers throughout my carrier at the company, and someone I could consistently rely on to get the job done. She has a very strong work ethic and had a great attitude. One of her strengths was her ability to effectively multi-task, which was a great asset to me and to the team; I would often load her up with a great deal of work. She would get it all done, and would not utter a single complaint. During our time working together she worked on a wide verity of tasks from small two-weeks-long projects to large multi-year projects. I recall one specific project she and I worked on together in 2003-2004 which leveraged some very advanced JavaScript to create an asynchronous effect within a configuration tool. It was not AJAX, but it was similar in what it accomplished, and this was well before AJAX came on to the scene. When AJAX did become a hot topic, I recall thinking, "Hey Jessica and I have been doing that already!" Her mellow and calm personality was especially valuable during the stressful times, like when a major project was in its final phases. She was a pleasure to work with, and I would be happy to work with her again some day.

Jessica was my first mentor at APC / Schneider Electric. Not only did she help me learn ColdFusion and the infrastructure of APC's sites (yes multiple), she guided me on task management, navigating corporate meetings, and documentation within the SDLC.
