In August 2018 I started working as a postdoc within the SFB 1266 programme at Kiel University. My main focus is the study of Middle and Late Neolithic transformation processes across Northwest Europe. I've written two peer-reviewed papers during this period, both accepted (Environmental Research Letters and Journal of Neolithic Archaeology), published a book chapter, published my PhD thesis with Sidestone Press and published a conference proceedings.Additionally, I was granted EU funding (MSCA-IF), and participated in the preparation for the granted second phase DFG funding for SFB 1266 in Kiel. I was a PhD candidate at Kiel University Graduate School "Human Development in Landscapes". My PhD thesis, titled "Embracing Bell Beaker. Adopting new ideas and objects across Europe during the later 3rd millennium BC (c. 2600-2000 BC)", was awarded a 1.0 (Magna Cum Laude), and has been published with Sidestone Press (in 2019).Between February 2016 and February 2017 I was a PhD representative and member of the Executive Board of the Graduate School.
