When IWEA decided to leave Indianapolis and go to Ft Wayne, we needed to find a place to host a party for the conference attendees. I called Visit Ft Wayne and scheduled a meeting with Josie. Josie is full of enthusiasm and her love for Ft Wayne shows. She totally understood what our organization was looking for in a facility and activity. She made an appointment with the Ft Wayne Parks and Recreation Department and we rented out Promenade Park for our party. The event was such a success, we will be going back next year! I would recommend anyone working with Josie, she is a go getter!

An organization of mine decided to move our state annual conference from Indianapolis to Fort Wayne. It is hard moving a giant conference to a new city. Our staff was comfortable in Indianapolis. We knew what restaurants to go to, we knew where to host our nightly receptions and dinners. Our members and exhibitors are also very familiar with the Indianapolis location. When we decided to move, we had to find those same things in a city our staff was not familiar with, as well as encourage our members and exhibitors this will be a great move. Josie stepped right in and has been my right hand in helping me find new golf courses, restaurants, and other leisure activities to ensure our conference is a success. It has made planning our conference in a new city a breeze. I know if I have any questions or concerns about Fort Wayne, I just have to type a quick e-mail or pick up the phone and Josie has the answer!
