I appointed Josh as our site leader for our contract in the Bahamas, in this role I observed Josh in the performance of his duties on a weekly basis. The role of site leader can be a complicated one and Josh managed the pressures of the role in expert fashion. In the capacity of site leader, Josh was called to manage customer expectations, which at times were a bit different from what was in the contract, while at the same time ensuring the company's objectives and budget were kept on track. Additionally, Josh had an entire team reporting to him, so balancing the needs of the individual team members while keeping the program on track can at times be a challenge and here again Josh managed the situation with ease. I enjoyed my interactions with Josh, he was professional, insightful, never walked away from a challenge, and he understood the importance of taking care of the customer as well as his team. A satisfied customer will lead to follow on contracts, hence, there is a business development component to Josh's role and he has done this very well. He has made it a point to understand customer requirements and pain points and is very adept at recommending solutions that meet the customer's needs and then leading his team to ensure the program is successful. Josh is also very creative and has a positive mindset in his approach to problem solving; what others see as problems he sees as opportunities to take care of the customer; the customers like him and more importantly they listen to him. It is indeed a pleasure to have worked alongside Josh and his team and if given the chance, I would do it again without hesitation. As President I relied on his insights and he had my complete trust and confidence. In short, Josh is an asset to the organization.
