  I oversaw the City of Apopka Industrial Pretreatment Program, including preparing annual DEP reports and regulating businesses in our jurisdiction according to state laws and local ordinances. I also oversaw the City of Apopka FOG program which sought to partner with restaurants discharging wastewater to the treatment plant to reduce the amount of fats, oils, and greases introduced to the plant.   I was responsible for keeping the City of Apopka Waste Water Treatment Plant operating at State of Florida mandated guidelines. I was adept at troubleshooting issues within to plant to bring water quality back to within allowable ranges when it would go out of compliance. Maintenance of pumps and facilities at the Waste Water Treatment Plant. Proficient in laboratory procedures that determine compliance to operating parameters.

  I was part of a 5 person crew that installed and repaired water, sewer, and reuse water lines throughout the city of Apopka. I earned a class B State of Florida CDL and drove flatbeds and dump trucks with air brakes. I gained experience operating heavy machinery include backhoes, front end loaders, and forklifts. I became familiar with reading plans to make sure pipes were installed in the proper places and at the proper depths.
