As a Production Operator at Dartmouth Printing Company, I am part of a large team of employees that work together to give great services and products to our customers! My individual duties are based around being an operator of our Saddle Stitcher units which primarily produce our magazine and catalog line of products! With the help of a team of about 4 other colleagues, we ensure that each book is put together, stitched, trimmed and packaged/mailed to customer specifications! As operator, quality control is a big part of what I do! As books are being produced I am continuously checking books to ensure proper size and appearance! I also am assisting the team with other duties such as stacking pallets, loading forms, completing paperwork, running advanced inkjet/Mail Label units and ensuring all other team members are given accurate direction to what is needed to complete the order!Being that we have one of the fastest and most advanced machines in the industry, i work with another operator to assist the team with the above duties! Together setups and other tasks are more efficient and accurate!
