Second GIS hire for the company. I was tasked with the spatial data management of Right of Way (ROW) and Environmental datasets during the duration of the project. Custom solutions were developed using ArcGIS Server and ArcPad applications. SGC provided an environment that encouraged custom application development within and outside the ESRI sandbox. REPRESENTATIVE PROJECTS • First Wind: GIS Technician and Database Developer for multiple wind power projects in the state of Maine. Responsible for the custom development of a Microsoft Access based interface to a landowner/ROW database. The database contains multiple data entry forms and complex reporting functionality to provide the land agents with the most up to date and critical aspects of landowner information. This system is seamlessly integrated into the GIS and published to the project team via a web browser based application. • Confidential Utility Client: GIS Technician and Database Developer for a 175 mile transmission line routing alternatives analysis and ROW project in Maine. The route analysis included compiling parcel and ownership data from over 60 towns, acquiring environmental constraint data from State and Federal sources, as well as integrating project specific high resolution aerial photography, detailed planimetric mapping and field collected survey and environmental data. • Environmental Inspection Application: Lead Database Developer responsible for aspects of end-user collaboration, database design, form development, reporting, and support documentation. The database contains detailed information regarding construction inspection and oversight findings and produces formatted reports suitable for the client and regulators. Show less
