  As a Senior Technical Writer at ARGO Data, I own, maintain, and author many types of guides, including procedural user guides, configuration guides, reference guides, high-level strategy guides to help inform executives of critical decisions and configuration points before an implementation, installation guides, and patch notes. In the last few years, I have helped onboard, train, and mentor new hires for their first few years of employment and helped them build and foster relationships at ARGO. Throughout my time at ARGO, I have performed additional team-related duties, including creating Word templates for use within and outside of the documentation team, creating Visio diagrams for documentation and marketing materials, creating CSS stylesheets to generate different types of documents from MadCap Flare, providing training courses, helping establish and update team styles and standards, and editing and peer reviewing documents. Recently, I have started to take a project management role for my documentation projects. I have scoped documents for my lines of business, established time frames and priorities, identified individuals who are responsible for providing content and reviews, and ensured project expectations and deadlines were met using the Confluence wiki and Jira. Since I have taken up these responsibilities, I have overseen nearly ten releases of updated and new documents for several lines of business. Show less

  While working here as an intern, I was tasked with completing a wide variety of tasks -- including updating the company website, writing product documentation, editing training videos, and updating the customer database. During this time, I was recognized for adding value to the company, and I was kept on an additional year from the initial six month internship agreement.
