      • Oversaw a half billion in value 250MW M&A solar project in California as lead engineer. Led efforts to revise EPC agreement & exhibits and provided recommendations based on lessons learned. Ensured EPC agreement was in line with Duke standards. Visited site and performed due diligence on engineering items. Outside of this project provided recommendations for greenfield EPC exhibits. • Engaged in fatal flaw due diligence of M&A projects. Key focus items were design documents, engineering studies, PPA’s, productions, ordinance compliance. • Led optimization efforts in developing optimization tools & optimizing projects which resulted in over 10 million in savings and stronger returns. Optimized factors such as DC overbuild, GCR, minimum acreages, operational acreages, tracker selection & height, inverter count & selection, economizers, module selection. • Developed solar & BESS layouts to inform site design such as MWdc capacity and GCR spacing. Incorporated into layouts environmental constraints, county ordinances, structural constraints and used ArcGIS, Civil 3D, PVCAD. • Tracked MISO & PJM queue and reported on various projects and estimated viability. Gained a working knowledge of various ISO’s and the inner workings of the study processes. • Worked collaboratively to achieve development, construction, and operation of solar facilities with many groups including developers, environmental experts, tax equity managers, construction project managers, finance modelers. • Performed early site prospecting in evaluating land and identifying buildable land for developers which resulted in ideal selections of land. • Modeled PVSYST productions for greenfield and M&A projects to support RFP’s. Developed internal models to estimate soiling, albedo, terrain impacts, tracker optimization software, and various tools which resulted in refined and region accurate production estimates for solar facilities.
