  Managing C3 Church Sydney (C3 SYD) owned facilities for the Oxford Falls and Silverwater locations. C3 SYD's mission is to help people know Jesus, find community and discover purpose. Oxford Falls is a large site, located on Sydney's Northern Beaches, consisting of a 1700 seat auditorium, TV and music studios, Falls Cafe and Play centre, and C3 SYD and Global offices. It is a beautiful location with impressive architecture, lots of grass, trees and bushland, with lots of staff and guests from the community on site throughout the week, making it a challenging but satisfying facility to look after and improve. The Silverwater location is situated in the centre of Sydney, in a more industrial area, and as of 2022 has been renovated and split into two, one side being used as church, its auditorium seating 700, and the other side known as 'The Atrium', consisting of 7 leased office spaces as well as a Cafe. Managing the usage of both church and tenant use provides a unique set of challenges, but generates a solid income stream for C3 SYD to support its mission. As a facilities manager I am responsible for managing all aspects of building and facilities maintenance and improvement including project management, fire safety, security, work health and safety, and managing external contractors such as cleaners, plumbers, electricians, and so forth. To achieve this I oversee a team of Facility Management permanent and casual staff of around 10 people, as well as engage C3 SYD volunteers in the maintenance and weekly operations of the church. All together it is a challenging but very satisfying role, knowing the difference we make across Sydney as C3 SYD, growing in my leadership abilities through leading and developing staff, and improving our facilities. Guitar lessons are for students of all ages & skill levels, focused on developing individual players in their skill and self-confidence both on and off their instrument.
