As the Network Engineer my mission was putting kids first, deploying and supporting the technological tools in the classroom to enhance the learning environment, and prepare them for the future! I achieved that goal by establishing and maintaining network performance by building network configurations and connections while also troubleshooting network problems. I was the districts facilitator of electronic communication and access to information via a enterprise class, district-wide network, ensuring appropriate levels of security, performance and confidentiality. This role broadened my expertise in many directions. I provided the highest level technical expertise in a specialized areas such as systems engineering, applications analysis, network analysis, and operating systems analysis, to the Technology Director. In this supervisory position, I coordinated all activities of technology specialists with multiple projects to meet project deadlines and budgets. I acquired knowledge and leadership experience in this functional position.
