As an employee of Superior Energy, Josh Reno performed at a high level. Josh served as an auditor in our Corporate Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Department. In this position Josh was responsible for traveling across the United States to many of our locations to ensure our business and subsidiaries are meeting all of the expectations set by Superior Energy’s management system. In order for this process to be successful Josh had to have a detailed knowledge of Superior Energy’s management system as well as federal requirements set by OSHA and any local requirements set by the state. As a Corporate HSEQ Auditor, Josh was successful in interacting with our employees at all levels of the organization from our Chief Executive Officer to enter level field employees. I believe to be successful in this type of position you have to have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve any conflicts are key to being a good auditor and Josh has displayed both of these skills from day one. Josh has been able to establish himself as a valuable resource to our business units while conducting audits and maintained a strong relationship with those he worked with long after the audit was over. Josh was able to perform all of his assigned job duties with little oversight by me and by all accounts did an excellent job. Josh has been able to excel in understanding the requirements of auditing a management system and has been espoused to a stronger knowledge of the upstream oil and gas industry during his time with Superior Energy. Josh will make a great addition to any team that he joins. I highly recommend Josh and I am available at any time to expand upon my comments mentioned in this letter.

I help lead a fast paced, high production demand, quality and safety focused toll and contract manufacturing company. We manufacture multiple products ranging from animal feed additives to infield conditioner for professional baseball teams. Our customers are some of the largest names in the food industry as well as Major League Baseball. We ship products to over 12 different countries around the world. I am over all aspects of plant operations including strategic planning, process improvements, continual improvement in both safety and quality, ensuring we meet all applicable regulatory requirements, allocate resources effectively, fully utilize assets to produce optimal results, and recruit, manage, and develop plant staff. I monitored and advised on the implementation of the quality management system, produced data and reported on performance, and measuring against set standards such as ISO 9001, FAMI QS, Safe Food Safe Feed, HACCP, and customer requirements. I also managed the companies safety program that includes employee safety training, safety policy implementation, and regulatory compliance. Lastly I ensured that all employees are trained as per their job requirements and regulatory requirements.

I audited Superior's various domestic safety management systems to determine if the systems met regulatory guidelines and were properly maintained and implemented. I reported audit findings to Superior's Executive leadership team and the specific Business Unit's upper management and HSEQ Director. Lastly, I coached key HSE leaders and various levels of operations employees on standards and guidelines, effectively bridging the gap between Operations and HSE.
