  My job as a dock worker Estes is a tough but rewarding job. I load and unload various freight of all shapes and weights into the correct truck to ensure they go to the proper distination. I would fill out the proper paperwork letting the driver know the weight, distination, tracking number and if there was any potential hazardous or comsumables on board. I would work with a team communicating with them and giving a helping hand whenever needed. Cleaning and ensuring the dock safty was also a major component of my job.

  My job at Seaco Parts was rather simple. I would receive and check in inbound shipments and then put them into our inventory or prepare them for shipping for our customers. I would coordinate with different shipping companies including Carotrans, Estes, and Southeastern Freight. I would then communicate with our customers updating them on their parts and estimated time of arrival. I would of course maintain the warehouse itself as well. I would keep inventory and insure that the entire warehouse was clean and safe.

  My job is a pretty standard warehouse position. I keep track of inventory, ship off machines and parts to various customers, receive machines and parts and put them in our system. I make sure the warehouse functions as orderly as possible. I usually don't have one day the same as the other which is what makes it fun. I love to see how my work shows in the easy accessibility and organization of the warehouse. I also really enjoy helping others with their work when I have time. The people I work with are great and knowing they have my back like I have theirs makes work that much better.
