  My main responsibility in this role is to assist the lead DevRel with the company's content strategy by writing curated, high-quality content as well as increasing community engagement and focusing on building the community. I also work on ad-hoc coding projects either for the content I write or as feature additions to Shuttle, and I also act as one of the public faces of shuttle by reaching out to other startups and promoting shuttle on Twitter. One goal I achieved during this time was writing an article that garnered 8k organic views in 2 days from an account that had barely any followers, as well as a consecutive article that garnered 12k organic views in 3 days and a well-known Youtuber created a full video of himself reacting to.   One of my main achievements during this time was that I learned to pick up Chinese to be able to talk to customers on the phone. When I first initially took the job I didn't know any Chinese at all, but being that the customer demographic were mainly Chinese and the sales staff were native Chinese I managed to pick up most of the common terms and take orders on the phone as well as dealing with customer complaints. My impact lead to a lot of time being saved as some customers would call early on in the day, then not be free to place an order until very late in the day as well as freeing up general resources for the sales team members to manage their own customers. During this time I also learned how to use written Chinese to create promotional material.Some of my other duties:- Accurate SAP sales order, pick list and invoice generation- Form setting and query usage in SAP- Excel data analysis (Pivot tables, index-match, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting)- Co-ordinating cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction- Checking stock levels and informing relevant stakeholders- Maintaining route and call-in sheets for logistics and sales Show less

  One of my main achievements during this time was that after the first month or so of starting the apprenticeship, I was asked by the implementation manager to assist with a complete overhaul of the inventory database. My role within that was initially just analysing data, but I did the majority of the manual data cleansing, as well as assisting with unit of measurement streamlining (combining database items into having case/box and packet quantities) and testing new features. Overall because of my data entry skills, we managed to save about a month in total; the project was initially out of scope of the deadline due to given project resources, but the impact I had made the deadline possible.My other duties during this time:- Accurate, high-volume SAP sales order generation (typically anywhere up to ~80-90 a day, some with more than 30 entries)- Created flow charts and training manuals for various departmental processes- Assisting accounts department with bookkeeping duties- General office duties, archiving and scanning Show less
