I currently have obtained a chauffeurs license for this position of work. My main position is a delivery driver for Northeastern Paint Supply, however I also fulfill many other tasks at the company. Since I have started working at this company, I have gained a more vibrant knowledge of understanding different forms of paints, and their uses. I make several deliveries throughout my work week, and spend, on average, 6 hours a week on the road. When I'm not making deliveries I'm often checking in new stock, and stocking new merchandise throughout the store. I also do little odds and ends jobs like trash runs, and vacuuming, however my skills and tasks have been growing exponentially lately. I have recently started tinting paint, answering phones, and helping out some customers as they come into the store. I have a lot of customer interaction, and am constantly busy. At a moment when it seems like there is nothing to do, I always make sure to find something productive, such as restocking shelves, or properly rotating inventory. Show less

During this work experience, I helped customers lose weight through the use of several machines. I had to help them on each machine, and made sure they were all using the equipment properly. After a customer used the machine, it was one of my duties to spray the machines off and clean them by hand thoroughly. I answered the phones while at work and signed both new and returning customers up for memberships.
