The digital age has revolutionized the way that we live our lives and connect to one another. But, for the half of Americans who own pets, as we become more connected to each other, we're becoming less connected the animals we own, love, and cherish. So our aim is to leverage those same digital technologies to bring pet ownership into the 21st century. We're approaching this in two prongs, which reflect the two basic ways in which digital has revolutionized our lives. The first and foremost is social media, so we're building a social network where people and pets are both first class citizens. The second is life management, the realm of calendars, checklists, digital assistants, fitbits, and everything in between. So we're creating an ecosystem of connected products to streamline and automate the process of pet ownership, so that we can spend more time with our furry loved ones.

Despite only 5 weeks and no prior experience with ROS, the team of high school students succeeded at creating the specified product, even going above and beyond on the navigation and tracking technologies, including employment of Laser Radar (LiDAR) technology.
