I am a General Dentist helping to update an established family practice and provide quality care for the community. So far, we've updated to digital radiographs and installed a panoramic radiograph machine, re-vamped sterilization protocols to better protect our patients, are in the process of switching to full digital patient files to protect patient information, and expanded our hygiene team to make sure we can serve more of the community than ever before! Following matriculation from the second year at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, students begin their clinical education and continue to diagnose, give preventative care, and treat existing oral conditions for the next two years. Patients are seen up to three times per day with appointments extending up to three hours in length. Lab work consists of pouring impressions and mounting casts using bite registration and a facebow record; fabrication of occlusal guards and whitening trays; pindexing, and to ditch and die any crown preparations; crafting wax rims for bite registration and tooth setting in removable prosthodontics (including setting the denture teeth).
