I work with Barbell Club members at ARMR Crossfit to help develop, improve and critique their Olympic Weightlifting. I help the athletes understand their programming and answer any of the general questions they have related to their strength and conditioning. I assist members with individual goal setting and doing what I can to help them fulfill that. I have held Olympic weightlifting clinics to teach the basics of weightlifting for both new and seasoned athletes. I work as a Youth Treatment Specialist in the PRIDE Residential Program. My main duties consist of getting the kids ready for the day in the morning, ensuring they are dressed appropriately, fed and conduct hygiene before school. I help the kids learn classroom etiquette, practice good manners in school and help them stay productive in class during school hours. I conduct learning groups with the children to check in with how their night went the day before and check in with them in the afternoon to help them identify any behavior issues they can improve. On the weekends that I work, I help the kids complete program required journaling and writing assignments, I conduct hour long learning groups and keep the kids learn healthy ways to have fun by getting involved in sports, playing cards or board games and spending time in the library.
