I lead the upperclassmen leadership group, small groups, and am in charge of intramurals and food for the ministry. I work with 13 other interns so conflict management is a must. Also, the ministry has about 250 regularly attending students so time management is key in meeting all of those students needs. As an HVAC co-op I was given the opportunity to work closely with my team, team leader, architects, and customers to design HVAC layouts for a variety of projects. I was able to learn programs such as AutoCAD and AutoCAD 3D. I was also given the opportunity to design piping, lighting, and sound structures on some projects, as well as read cut sheets and spec sheets to make sure the customer got what they needed. Last, I was able to go on site visits to see how the design actually fit into the buildings.
