  - Formulated and sketched conceptual drawings with multiple alternates for proposed projects, including appropriate cost analysis and adherence to project scope and schedule. - Analyzed scope of work, environmental assessment, and existing conditions to formulate design criteria utilizing The Green Book, MUTCD, and other transportation resources to establish controlling parameters in preparation of project construction plans. This includes the design of drainage structures, sanitary sewers, roads, bridges, and culverts using accepted civil engineering practices, jurisdiction-specific standards and specifications, and nationally recognized engineering codes, standards, or regulations. - Established horizontal and vertical alignments for roadway projects utilizing computer-assisted engineering and design software (i.e. Microstation, Inroads,). Designed roadway construction plans for pavement rehabilitation, roadway realignment and widening, bridge replacement, culvert replacement, beautification, and access management. - Completed drainage analysis and design utilizing engineering judgement and computer-assisted engineering and design software (i.e. InletSoft, StormCad, North American Green, etc.) to determine inlet type and spacing, pipe sizing, ditch analysis, culvert length, and other project specific analysis required. Constructed drainage notebooks to further detail the drainage design. - Analyzed storm water management to design detailed Erosion and Sediment Control Plan and create Construction Best Management Practices Plan (CBMPP). - Coordinated work with other engineering designers and drafters, working cohesively to complete roadway designs on time and within the allotted budget and resource estimate.
