  I am responsible for the planning, teaching, and assessment of six daily periods of 7th grade science. I work in close conjunction with Special Education Teachers due to Grinnell-Newburg School District being a full inclusion school. I am on the IPI (Instructional Practices Inventory) Team which collects data about the engagement of the students in our school on a typical day. I am the PLC Facilitator for the middle school science team; leading our team through the PLC process. I am also a Mentor teacher who coaches and guides beginning educators in my district. In addition to my classroom duties, I am the Assistant High School and Head Middle School Debate Coach. This involves coaching high school students in the winter and middle school students in the spring. Show less
