      • Managing a team of 6-8 members of staff, making sure that regular meetings are done so that standards are kept as high as possible.. as well as having clear expectations set out. • Responsible for recruiting members of staff for the sales department. • Preparing data based spreadsheets and presentations to the directors to keep them informed about growth and prospects, as well as any barriers that we as a company and sales team could potentially face with possible solutions in any given business climate I.e. brexit and COVID. • Tracking sales figures and trends to identify any potential areas for downfalls in sales figures, then performing a pragmatic based approach of ways to counter any of these predictions that may occur. • Working on larger projects from the start of the prototyping phase all the way through to the production phase, liaising and communicating with all departments from engineering to quality to ensure the project is a success. • A key focus for me at the moment is making sure that what we are offering to our customer is not only what they have requested, but also based around solutions that are more economical and sustainable for them. Dealing with some of the largest automotive clients in the industry, they’re all keen to pave the way to a brighter and more sustainable future. Show less

      • Ensuring that all members of the quality team had clear time allocations so that we never missed a deadline/target date. • Jumping in to audit customer service calls and complaints to ensure that we still hit deadlines, this involved me being accredited through the official VWFS accreditation process. • Liaising with floor coaches and team leaders to ensure that everybody was as up to date and informed as possible, this also helped us understand any areas in which team members or even senior management where struggling with areas of quality. • Responsible for updating “NetConsent” which is an internal portal for all employees to check all internal procedures, including the quality and customer service procedures. This also including all regulatory information that was sent out by the FCA and other governing bodies. • Designing and implementing risk based approach training programmes in which would not only reduce attrition but also reduce the impact new members of staff would have on the quality score for that month. • Running end of day/week/month reports to show where we were sitting around completion figures and also the overall quality score. • Travelling to and from the head office site in Milton Keynes to catch up on a regular basis with the heads of quality, customer service and compliance to ensure the office and quality department was up to date and in sync with what was required.
