For my first few semesters in this position my role largely consisted of grading papers and helping students during class with the lab program Avida-ED. When the COVID-19 pandemic began our classes were switched to online, causing us to have to adjust our teaching style. Following the start of the pandemic, I worked as a technical moderator for a 70 person Zoom workshop educating professors from around the world on how to use our program and began development on a video tutorial series for Avida-ED for students. Additionally, I developed other documents and videos for professors to aid in their teaching. Show less

We tested the lane-keep assist, auto-brake system, and adaptive cruise control safety features in the new line of cars that are on the road today. At Delphi, I was first tasked with updating a program in JavaScript without any prior knowledge of the language. This project was expected to take me the entire summer to complete, however, I finished the project in the first 3 weeks of my internship. Following this project I was tasked with fixing and improving the interface of an Android Auto testing app that the team had developed. I discovered and fixed several bugs from the previous programmer based on my conversations with the team and updated the interface to be more accessible and to match the identity of the company.
