Assist the Head Coach in the planning and execution of daily coaching operations for the football team. Coordinate and lead daily practices and activities to support athletes in enhancing their skill set. Partner with fellow coaching staff in coaching team, constructing game plans, studying opponents and holding team meetings. Mentor offensive lineman to support their growth, constructing practice plans consisting of conditioning, strength training, on-field drills and play calling. Facilitate coaching and mentoring sessions for student athletes to discuss potential issues and concerns. Work closely with Head Coach to identify behavioral or academic issues, developing plan for ensuring high graduation rate. Formerly served as Junior Varsity Special Teams Coach.

Coordinate and lead all aspects of the Peoria Raiders Football Program, including planning and facilitating practices, developing coaching plans and schedules, mentoring athletes and organizing game strategies. Work collaboratively with fellow coaching staff to ensure the athletic progression of all players. Plan and execute weekly practice schedules, activities and coaching strategies. Prepare weekly game plans by conducting assessment of player abilities and opponent standings. Selected as Head Coach based on previous performance in Assistant Coach & Defense Coordinator role for the Litchfield Park Renegades (2015 – 2016).

Adapt reading and mathematics curriculum to develop lessons and activities to teach a diverse population of special needs students. Institute classroom management strategies and programs that promote positive behaviors. Assist with boosting students’ physical, academic, emotional and mental development. Conduct small group activities to promote teamwork and build student unity. Maintain a safe and secure classroom environment for all students. Facilitate IEPs and create behavior intervention plans for students who require additional support. Assisted in developing weekly game plans for defense and special teams, preparing weekly practice schedules and coordinating practice plans. Served as a trusted advisor and mentor for students with special needs. Created and implemented mathematics curriculum and lesson plans that supported the academic and developmental goals of all students. Taught socially acceptable behavior to special needs students, employing techniques such as behavior modification and positive reinforcement. Coordinated and facilitated IEPs, specialized curriculum and learning activities. Prepared students for academic progression by encouraging them to explore learning opportunities and to persevere with challenging tasks.
