In the six months I worked with Josh at FoamCraft, I came to appreciate his practical and effective approach. He joined us with strong CAD and design skills and quickly took on the challenge of learning Solidworks. Our collaboration on generating shop travelers was essential in guiding production, especially in a challenging working environment. Josh's ability to focus, adapt, and contribute positively to our production oversight was a valuable asset. His work not only met our standards but often exceeded them. If you need someone who can navigate complexity and deliver results, Josh is a solid choice.

I worked with Josh at Aleratec and he was always reliable, open to ideas and helpful during our launches.

[CAD DESIGN - SOLIDWORKS] • As a CAD designer, my main responsibility is to design a variety of products, including crates, skids, pallets, and foam assemblies, which include endcaps and tool insert trays. I create detailed drawings of these products, ensuring that they are optimized for manufacturing in-house, or conversely, take a customer's existing drawings and prepare them for use with our manufacturing capabilities. I work with our sales team, and on ocassion the end-client, to refine manufacturing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. [COLLABORATE WITH PRODUCTION] • By collaborating with the production team, I ensure that each design meets quality standards and that it can be efficiently manufactured on the shop floor. I am always open to feedback and suggestions from the production team to improve each design. [OVERSEE ROUTING MANAGEMENT] • One of my responsibilities is to oversee routing management and assist with production planning. I generate daily shop travelers that detail the steps required to produce each product. I ensure that each traveler is clear, concise, and accurate, and that it reflects any changes made to the design or production process. This documentation is essential to ensure that each product is manufactured according to the correct specifications and quality standards. I regularly communicate with the production team to ensure that the routing management process runs smoothly. [QUALITY CONTROL] • I am responsible for performing regular quality control checks on outgoing foam orders. I conduct visual and physical inspections to identify any defects or flaws in the products and document any issues discovered. I work with the production team to make improvements to the manufacturing process to reduce defects and improve overall product quality. Show less

I specialize in the production of supporting assets crucial for both small and large scale projects. My services encompass 2D design, where I craft compelling presentations and marketing assets that encapsulate the essence of a brand or project. Additionally, I offer CAD modeling for 3D design, Project Management, and Product Development, all tailored to assist artisans, inventors, wholesalers, and manufacturers. With a knack for turning ideas into tangible products, I ensure a smooth transition from conceptual stages through to production, addressing the unique needs and challenges of each project. On a personal front, I also engage in independent art projects, previously centering around the creation of laser cut gifts manufactured using a variety of materials including leather, wood, cloth, and acrylic.
