  I joined RenewableUK to combine my enjoyment of marketing and copy writing with my desire to help affect some small amount of positive change in the world. During my time there I helped to organise and deliver a number of marketing campaigns and events throughout the UK, which was both challenging and rewarding. I really enjoyed my time there, but with the renewables industry being squeezed so hard, after a year I felt it was time to move on and set up on my own as a freelance copy writer, which I did.

  I started at Just Kampers as a Warehouse Operative, but then worked my way up into the Sales Team. I then showed enough promise to be put on a Management Training scheme, where I learned a huge range of management skills both in my day-to-day work at Just Kampers, and in specialist training out of hours and on weekends, including a number of management courses. I went from Sales into Customer Service, which I ran for several months, and then moved into marketing, where my training wrapped up. I really enjoyed marketing, where I stayed for another 18 months.
