  I managed a business services team and we specialised in providing general business compliance services, business development (guiding businesses through periods of change and difficulty - especially through the GFC). I was also involved in the preparation of share and business valuations. This was an intense period of change for businesses, and there were significant changes in taxation regulation(GST rate change, changes in regard to GST on land transactions including both on acquisition and the treatment of ongoing returns, changes in corporate tax rates, investment law changes, introduction of the LTC).
