Initially, I was hired as a new grad into the Sustaining Engineering group. I was promoted into the RF Engineering Group. I oversaw and very successfully engineered the universal remote control program. I worked with program management, supply chain, RF Engineering, and various vendors to spec out remote system firmware and help design and test the electrical hardware for the remotes. I also worked with the mechanical engineering and industrial design team to ensure proper cosmetics of… Show more Initially, I was hired as a new grad into the Sustaining Engineering group. I also worked with the mechanical engineering and industrial design team to ensure proper cosmetics of the remote. As well, I handled documentation and release of all change orders related to remotes. I was also responsible for improving remote performance significantly and initial specification and protocol design for new remote projects. I actively worked satellite television LNBF troubleshooting, engineering testing, and failure analysis. I was a support engineer for various projects from initial concepts to production release, also helping all design engineering groups where needed. I had to organize and release all critical documents and change orders and was responsible for numerous qualifications of components and critical hardware such as FLASH memory, SDRAM, EEProm, Hard Disk Drives, and analog audio and modulated TV output circuitry.
