Josh was an affable and articulate student and revealed himself to be an independent and serious person. As he was my former Italian student, I was quite favorably impressed by how much Italian he learned while studying in Italy his junior year. He was also a witty, serious, and focused young man. I hired him as a student assistant in Italian and his work was always very conscientious and precise. Although I have not seen Josh in 35 years, he made such a positive impression on me that it remains these many years later.
