      I graduated from Pearsons In Practise ATA, in 2011. This was an intense course where I worked with computers alongside team members to complete projects to a deadline. Whilst at Pearson, I installed and set up Microsoft Server 2003 and 2008 R2. Whilst using Microsoft Server 2003 and 2008 R2, I have gained knowledge of configuring protocols DHCP and DNS. This also allowed me to gain experience using Active Directory to create user accounts, domains and re-setting passwords. I have also had first-hand experience using operating systems such as Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP. Pearson has also given me knowledge of creating group policies and local group policies. Whilst at Pearson, I became very confident with installing various amounts of hardware components and building PC's. I have also had basic first line support experience by taking calls and logging them into Microsoft Access. Also at Pearson's, I gained a lot of experience in setting up and using virtual machines.
