Sales Associate/ Asset Protection Associate

Started out working in the sporting goods department. Was hired in this department due to by military experience and familiarity with firearms. Successfully maintained firearm sales as required by the federal government and the state. Was selected for an Asset Protection program after being with the company for only six months. In Asset Protection main duties were walking the store in normal everyday clothes identifying possible shoplifters. Was trained to stop and apprehend shoplifters. Was local point of contact for local police force. Was trained with store safety, and was responsible for the training of new employee's in safety matters. Conduct monthly store safety audits in accordance with OSHA guidelines.

Sonar Technician

Served aboard the USS Tucson SSN 770 as a 3rd class sonar technician. Certified in APB-04 TI-08 sonar system. Qualified all in port and at sea watchstations. Certified technician and RPPO. Was considered one of the top system troubleshooting technicians. Took on several senior level responsibilities as a junior member of the sonar division. Nominated for career advancement program. Successfully transitioned the repair parts program from drydock to out to sea readiness. Maintained and repaired the sonar system network on several occasions. Qualified in 3M maintenance program. Qualified in small arms and held a sharp shooter award. Received Navy Achievement Medal. Held a secret clearance for 5 years.
