  ● Implemented Docker for easy cross-platform development and production, to create a containerized application and give access to users’ containers, allowing our app to be able to abstract away much of the complicated configuration that is required to do any kind of monitoring. ● Implemented Prometheus to access containers, scraping metrics from those containers, and deliver a simple and understandable result, exposing data using a simple format and then recording information in a timestamp easily read by our app. ● Augmented Prometheus with cAdvisor to export data collected from containers as Prometheus metrics, Prometheus returns aggregated metrics of a user’s containers, while Cadvisor can return specific data about specific containers, allowing for more fleshed-out monitoring capabilities. ● Leveraged Bootstrap’s extensive library to create several insertable components with preconfigured styles and settings, saving time during the development process and allowing for unique customization. ● Updated code base to TypeScript to improve the development experience and increase scalability by taking advantage of its static analysis and type security ensuring the consistency and security of our variables. ● Applied React hooks to reuse and extract stateful logic so it could be tested independently and re-rendered as needed, by managing state effectively performance was enhanced and code was split into smaller, readable, and reusable functions. ● Product developed under tech accelerator OS Labs (opensourcelabs.io) Show less
